A Walk In The Park (Madrid Again)

Woops. Forgot to include this brief little visit to Madrid between Bilbao and Seville at sunrise. It was a very rushed walk through the Retiro Park near the Madrid Atocha train station, but there were some cool things to see. And even though it was still a bit dark when we first entered, it didn't feel dangerous or creepy at all.

Parque del Buen Retiro (Park of the Pleasant Retreat)


Palacio de Cristal (The Crystal Palace) inside the Retiro Park. It was inspired by London's now burnt down Crystal Palace.




El Angel Caido (The Fallen Angel), the only statue in the world in honour of Lucifer. What a strange thing to have.
